Click to visit 5PM MAG5 IN THE AFTERNOON MAG I decided to try putting together a literary magazine of sorts, and this was the result. The first, and currently only, issue of Five In The Afternoon mag follows the theme of 'Childhood' and features some of my own writing as well as the insights, memories, and perspectives of a handful of good friends. I really hope I eventually finish the second issue...it's been YEARS overdue. I know, how sad. Ugh.

Click to visit GIVEN CHANCESGIVEN/CHANCES This is the first of my writing collections, and the shortest, since I didn't really know what I was doing back then in terms of putting all my writing together in one place. It contains the work I did from 2003-2004, and has consequently been around a while. I find that the further back I go, the more I criticize what I have written...but still, it's necessary to know your beginnings before you can even consider the ending.

Click to visit LOTUSLOTUS The second collection of my writing, this time spanning the years 2004-2005. I found that this one could be organized fairly neatly, but the topics of my writing range from disappoinment to freedom to joy. I like to dally in all sorts of silliness, apparently. I'm proudest of the fact that Lotus was the first time I ever officially sat down and said, okay, I'm going to make a collection of all my writing from the past year and see how well it goes. From the editing to the layout to the disclaimer, I pretty much worked myself to death in order to finish this project. I'm happy with the way it turned out, even.

Click to visit PENELOPEPENELOPE This is the latest addition to my writing collections, containing all my work from 2006 to early 2007. The idea was kept in limbo for an amazingly long time, and then it waited for an even longer time as I moved from Hawaii to Texas and went through not one but two computer crashes. The writings in Penelope are scattered through three notebooks and various sheets of paper folded and tucked in between, making it difficult to pull together and even more difficult to edit. Still, I'm proud to say I've finished it at last, no matter how many decades it took to get done.
