This domain was established on June 16, 2006 as a personal collective and writing portfolio for Paola, unabashed narcissist and abuser of SAT vocabulary words. It is hosted at Influxhost, who basically conned me into it by offering an amazing deal that screamed of fate, destiny, and what-have-you. Truth be told, I probably don’t really need a second domain. But, I am ridiculously fond of fireflylight, and happy that I decided to give in to compulsion. While I have always thought of deep-mirrors as my home on the internet, fireflylight became more of a sanctuary; the place where I keep my thoughts, a way to express myself and only myself, no pressure and no promises.

VERSION VI: Gravity was created for the miniature Twilight Series marathon between myself, Europa, Chisato, and Chrizta. It was inspired by the beautiful song Gravity, by Vienna Teng, and the images are scans from the Japanese editions of Twilight and New Moon. The four of us are huge fans of Stephenie Meyer's I really struggled with this layout. I scrapped three different versions of it, and it basically took forever for me to finish it. It's the end of November and everyone else has had their layout up for I don't know how long now, but I'm just barely uploading it o___o I blame life and its many obstacles/time-draining activities. Anyway, the images of Edward and Bella were blended together and the layout itself is based around the idea of gravity, specifically the line from the song that I've quoted above. To tie it in to something scientific and more outer space-ish (a difficult thing to accomplish, with this love story...haha), I put in the circular mathematical diagram because it reminded me of a planet's orbit. The layout also features paper stars and a texture from Hybrid Genesis. Fonts used are thekingandqueen, DearJoe Four, and Californian.
I love this song in relation to Bella and Edward, because it goes both ways. They find themselves gravitating toward one another, as if drawn by some invisible force, the way gravity holds moons in their orbit and keeps the earth revolving around the sun. The initial thought might be that Edward is the sun to Bella's earth, but it's also that way for Edward. She is the center of his universe.
